Three Seconds

“In three seconds my life was turned upside down”

“As I lay staring at the ceiling struggling to get up, I had no idea what was ahead of me” Prior to his accident in November 2014, Chris’ life was unremarkably “normal”. Just over four years ago, he slipped and fell in his bathroom and injured his neck. Unable to move he lay there paralyzed for 14 hours until his mother discovered him laying in the bathtub. His injury took him through the A-Z of the healthcare system. Starting with a 911 call, emergency room surgery, ICU, inpatient, rehab, outpatient, follow-ups, research groups advocacy, and volunteering. Miraculously he survived to tell his story. Hear how his strength, determination, and faith helped him survive and resculpt his purpose to create a quality-of-life few thought was possible.
